Here we have a beautiful and RARE classic 1920s -30s leather jacket and that would be a KING O FUR ” Grizzly” style pony fur and horse hide jacket. King O Fur pioneered this style of jacket in the 1920s that had fur panels on the front and back of the jacket along with a fur collar. Later makers used sheepskin but King O Fur used pony fur. This example has as you can see dark brown fur and lighter brown leather. The fur is in excellent condition except for a tear around right pocket, please see my close up photo I took to show you. Two small , less then a penny size spots of loss under the arms. Hair is bright and clean. Hair is not slipping and hide is not hard. Some normal wear on top of the collar, again see photos. The leather is fine, nice and soft, not dried out or cracked. A couple places where the stitching has come out but minor but again see my photos. Has its original Taylon zipper which works fine. Snaps on pockets and buckles on sleeves are fine. Has its original blanket lining which is good with just normal wear along the bottom hem as is to be expected. Not marked as to size but when laid flat measures about 19 inch across the chest under the arms, about 21 inch from shoulder down the sleeve to the cuff and about 25 inch from bottom of the collar straight down the back to the hem. Really a beautiful , and desirable jacket that I know you will love.
