This gorgeous cowhide coat is very early KENZO. JungleJap was their first label and made in the early 1970s. The label on this jacket reads JungleJap PARIS and was most likely made there, although there is not a “made in” tag. The coat is in overall very good vintage condition, there are a few small areas where the hide has rubbed, as pictured, but overall condition of the exterior is excellent. On the interior, there is some slight fading to the lining as pictured and a few small breaks in the lining, none of which is visible to the outside. The coat feathers pockets on either side with western style welting, pewter buttons, and a breast pocket. This coat is meant to be slightly oversized and will best fit a modern size Medium.
