RIVER JUNCTION TRADE CO WOOL Mackinaw WESTERN BLANKET COAT Jacket CIVIL WAR XL. WOOL MACKINAW COAT RARE BIG SIZE 50! River Junction Trade Company was founded in 1973, still located in Iowa. They produce 19th century historic re-enactment goods with a strong emphasis on the Old West. Their clothing has been used in several big films including The Lone Ranger, Lonesome Dove, Django Unchained and many, many more. This superb coat is made from 100% heavy wool blankets. IT’s a beautiful light brown color with red stripes on sleeve ends and waistband with a white cross on back perhaps a first-aid reanactment? Double-breasted front that can be fastened from either side, four large exterior leather trimmed pockets, large shawl collar that can be turned up and buttoned for more protection, back belt, etc. They are fantastic and timeless coats, will last for many years and always look great. It’s warm and it’s comfortable. Guaranteed to keep you warm in any weather, this will be a handsome but rugged addition to your wardrobe. These coats are well-tailored and well-made. They fit nicely and feel great. All coats fit differently so please follow measurements. Size is tagged a 50 – but we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. All measurements taken on outside of coat, buttoned and laid flat. Measurements are; Chest taken under arms – 55 inches. Shoulders – measured across the back from seam to seam – 20 inches. Sleeve – from collar seam at neck to sleeve end – 36.25 inches. Sleeve – from shoulder seam to sleeve end – 28 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of coat – 42 in. Bottom edge measured all the way around 60 inches. Condition is excellent, shows little wear. No holes, tears or significant wear. There may be a few small moth bites on the coat as that is always possible with wool, but we don’t notice anything significant. Clean and you’ll likely find it wearable as is, but as with all used items, we recommend cleaning, as there may be a few small spots. Please check measurements and review photos carefully.
