I can totally see this with some cool boots and blue jeans. Or maybe with a long tiered skirt. Maybe you’re heading out to an art museum and want to stand out in the crowd a little. Just a little of that artsy look without being costumey. This is labeled medium. Measures 19 1/2 inches underarm to underarm. So measure another vest or jacket from underarm to underarm and see if this will work. Of course a vest you can always leave open. The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 24 inches. This is done mainly in red but the red isn’t a bright Christmasy red, it’s more of a cranberry red. The front is fully heavily beaded with seed beads in a Native American design. Beads are glass so this has some weight to it. There are variations in the beadwork but those are not flaws. This is all done on a lightweight suede. This is also lined so it’s smooth inside. There is a half belt to tie in the back if you’d like to cinch it up a bit tighter. This is in excellent shape except for the braided suede ties have loosened. There are 3 braided ties at front and each consists of 3 suede laces. One of the braided pieces on two of the ties has come loose from the vest. It’s tied and secured. (shown in photos 8 and 9). A clever person could probably fix this but it’s perfectly fine and wearable as it is. Otherwise this is like new. I’ve seen this before on this vest and I think the ties aren’t sewn deeply enough into the vest and have a tendency to pull out. This one is just crying out for you to layer your best western necklaces with. Add some blue jeans and cowboy boots and you are ready to go anywhere! Ties are made of 3 pieces of suede that is braided–on the top tie one of the pieces of suede has pulled out of the vest. Half belt in back. Colors on this are just gorgeous. The seed beads used in this are either pearly or colors lined in silver. When you look at the vest sideways it looks like you’re looking at the tops of Southwestern churches with crosses atop. Labeled medium and should fit a medium just fine. 19 1/2 inches from underarm to underarm across the back. 23 inches from shoulder to bottom of hem at longest point in front. Please compare a fitted jacket’s measurements against these. 16 1/2 inches across back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. 22 inches underarm to underarm. Sleeve length is 23 inches. Measure a fitted jacket from underarm to underarm and see if this will work. Since the beadwork is solid you won’t have the give and stretch you would have with a regular fabric jacket. The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 21 inches. Has suede ties in the front for closure or leave it open. This is the most amazing jacket I’ve ever seen! But it doesn’t fit me. I would seriously frame this but it wouldn’t go with my decor. Signed and labeled 82 out of 120. Done in black seed beads for the background. Features horses and Native Americans. Lined in a fabric that would have been appropriate to the late 1800’s as a lining for jackets or vests of that period. If you’ve ever seen the Netflix movie about Iris Apfel she wears a Hairston Roberson jacket in some of the scenes. Not one as heavily beaded as this one though. I would imagine she would love this one too! This is covered in glass seed beads and weighs 7 pounds. So it might be a bit exhausting to wear for long periods! Does not have a size tag but judging from the measurements i would say it’s going to fit from a small to a medium. Please compare a fitted jackets measurements against these. 15 inches from seam to seam across the back is fairly small and is more like a small size. The 20 inches underarm is more like a medium. So my best guess is a small to medium. 15 inches across back. 20 inches underarm to underarm. Sleeve length is 22 inches. Measure a fitted jacket from underarm to underarm and see if this will work. Since the beadwork is solid you won’t have the give and stretch you would have with a regular fabric jacket. The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 21 inches not counting the fringe. Fringe adds about another 4 inches. Has suede ties in the front for closure or leave it open. This is the most amazing jacket I’ve ever seen! But it doesn’t fit me. I would seriously frame this but it wouldn’t go with my decor. Done in turquoise seed beads for the background. Single saddled horse pictured on the back along with flags and an arrow.
