Levi’s Vintage Clothing Fringed Leather Coat in Whiskey. The Fringed Leather Coat is a reproduction based on western fringed leather coats from the late 50s. This is the non-aged/distressed version of the men’s fringed leather coat that was slated for production and release for the current fall winter 2013 season as part of the’Boomtown’ collection. Only several of the non-aged/distressed jackets were made and neither this version or the aged/distressed version were picked up by retailers, which kept this jacket from getting a full production run. I highly prefer the non-distressed version here over the distressed version. When regarding leather jackets if you’re anything like me. Preferring to developing your own patina on your jacket, then. This is the jacket for you. The jacket was made in Italy from very soft and supple deer skin leather. I’m a medium, but in this jacket I prefer the size small as the fitted look is what I prefer with this particular cut, and the size small fits more like a slim medium, given the boxy cut. The deer skin is soft and supple enough to provide for some stretch in the break in period. As for the size medium, it fits me well, still slim fitting but with comfortable room. With this jacket I prefer it a bit on the snug size. Pit to pit: 21-1/2. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19″, sleeve length from shoulder seam to end of cuff: 27″, length of back from base of collar to bottom of waist: 24-3/4″ without fringe, 28″ measured to end of fringe. Butter soft tan leather. Very handsome western styling. See photos for measurements. Model is 6’4 and 190 lbs. This coat is long and you can see that it might qualify as a LT (large tall) since the sleeves are nearly long enough for the model. No size tag so I guess it was custom made for the previous owner. There is some damage to the lining at one side, see all photos. Shows wear and maybe could use a cleaning unless you want to look like the Marlboro Man. If there are any defects I will show you. Up for your consideration is a beautiful vintage Ralph Lauren Navajo Southwest Wool Jacket sz. L This Navajo Jacket is Blue, Red, Orange, Gray and Ivory in color. It features a shawl collar, whipstiting trim, 2 large front pockets and 2 silver buttons that fasten together by a leather tie. This wool jacket has a few flaws (knicks) in wool all on collar portion. These are hardly seen but shown close up on picture just to point out. Please note these few and minor flaws aren’t holes. These knicks are only on the surface meaning they do not go completely through to underside therefore not making a hole. Also please note this jacket is missing a leather tie.
