This is a wonderful vintage CHIEF JOSEPH PENDLETON COAT with HOOD. Native American inspired and Made in the USA, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Beaver State. Women’s size Med or Large. It might work for other sizes as it is open and is not intended to be buttoned. This flattering length comes just to the knee on a 5′ 5 woman. Notice the perfectly matched pattern inside and out. There are two hidden side pockets, very deep. See next to last photo of pocket. Chest: 25 measured flat, armpit to armpit without lapping. Length, neckline to hem: 37. Pre-owned and has been worn; you may want to dry clean it before storing for summer. There is a small hole in the center of the back at the edge of one red spike; see photo #12. This is not serious and could be darned. The cuffs, front, hood and hem are bound and finished in Pendleton’s felt binding and the cuffs and front that would ordinarily show wear are free of wear or rubbing. I see no moth damage. A wonderful coat and great collectible that will be a keeper for decades. From a non-smoking, no pets home. International buyers are welcome. This listing is for a 1970’s high quality suede leather fringe “Rancher” jacket by Schott. A truly retro look, this jacket features long fringe all along the bottom, across the chest and back, and fully up the back of the arms, onto the shoulders. This piece would look right at home paired with jeans and boots as western wear, or as a fantastic retro everyday jacket! Fully lined interior, with a snap button front and two front pockets. In fantastic vintage condition, with no major issues. Minor rubbing on suede consistent with age. Fringe appears to be in great shape. Interior lining looks good. A couple of light pen marks on the front near a pocket, not very noticeable, pictured in the last photo.
