This is a wonderful vintage CHIEF JOSEPH PENDLETON COAT with HOOD. Native American inspired and Made in the USA, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Beaver State. Women’s size Med or Large. It might work for other sizes as it is open and is not intended to be buttoned. This flattering length comes just to the knee on a 5′ 5 woman. Notice the perfectly matched pattern inside and out. There are two hidden side pockets, very deep. See next to last photo of pocket. Chest: 25 measured flat, armpit to armpit without lapping. Length, neckline to hem: 37. Pre-owned and has been worn; you may want to dry clean it before storing for summer. There is a small hole in the center of the back at the edge of one red spike; see photo #12. This is not serious and could be darned. The cuffs, front, hood and hem are bound and finished in Pendleton’s felt binding and the cuffs and front that would ordinarily show wear are free of wear or rubbing. I see no moth damage.
