Vtg 60s/70s Men’s Pioneer Chimayo Split Leather Jacket 44 Indian Hippie Western. This is a very cool vintage 60s or early 70s era Pioneer split leather jacket with panels of authentic Chimayo Indian weavings at the shoulders and along the center of the back. This is a classic, and I might add, hard to find piece of the era. This jacket is in good used condition. It’s fully wearable and very solid, but there are some minor condition issues. First there’s wear to the collar. I think you can see what I’m describing in some of the pictures below. Also, there’s a spot along the front left panel in the belly area. Finally, the acetate lining is worn to thread at the bottom as well as at the neck in one tiny spot. I really consider these issues minor. This is a well worn, well loved jacket that still looks great. This jacket is marked a size 44 and fits me like a classic slim fitting 44 of that era. Be sure to check the measurements below.
