Stunning vintage poncho/cape from S. Hyde, for Signature Rugs, Dallas, TX. Numbered, AZTEC model 1/7 (one of seven). Very unique and rare item. Stored since the 80s. Has a normal leather smell, has never been worn, light pressure marks on the suede from storage, should brush out. Deep turquoise suede is supple and has leather accents in black, black leather lining and long 10 leather fringe. Leather is also clean and supple. The front has two leather conchos and some silver feathers hanging below the Hyde logo patch. Real work of art! No size, osfa – approx measurements: 20″ from shoulder tip to shoulder tip, 5.5″ wide at shoulder section tapering to 2 wide near the bottom. 6 high in back. 16 long in front. I noticed a pencil mark about 3 inch in the back very bottom it appears to have been a mark when the coat was being made.
