This is a lightweight compressible Premium Goose Down filled high loft jacket with diagonal baffling. Super comfy and extremely warm with absolutely NO COLD SPOTS or down shifting! Jacket has been worn mostly on summer backpacking trips to the high country. Although it is many years old it has only been worn an average of probably-less than-50 hours a year! It has never been laundered so the loft is virtually 100%! The shell has been sponge cleaned regularly and is due for another cleaning. Its up to you. This amazingly featherlight high loft jacket is designed to be ultralight and super- compressible and incredibly warm. In fact, I dont think you can find a more comfortable-lightweight-warmer jacket anywhereThe best for warmth and compression in the high country or anywhere! As with any 100% Goose down jacket-not waterproof. Please be aware that even though the zipper works fine something is definitely wrong as it has starting unzipping itself-more like separating-from the bottom up-once the jacket is zipped up. This is obviously a defect that has just started and will need repairing. As I mention in original listing, above I have contacted Western Mountaineering to have this repaired, however; I have not heard from them as of yet. Please understand that the zipper is obviously defective (after many years of use) and will need replacing or repairs! I cannot guarantee at this time that Western Mountaineering will replace the zipper free of charge (although I would hope so).
