SUPERB PENDLETON CHIEF JOSEPH WESTERN Wear WOOL BLANKET JACKET Coat NAVAJO LG. CLASSIC Authentic Vintage Pendleton High Grade Western Wear Wool Blanket Coat. Made in Portland Oregon. Rare desirable Pendleton with full button-up front and a large warm collar. Harding Pattern, if we are correct. The iconic classic, made by Pendleton. Versatile, desirable, featuring vivid colours in a fantastic pattern inspired by Native American Indian designs, often Navajo. Beautiful, by any name. This rare coat features two big exterior flap covered pockets as well as two exterior chest pockets, and full button up front, warm wool collar, etc. Fantastic and timeless coats, warm and comfortable. All coats fit differently so please follow measurements. Size is not tagged – so we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. All measurements taken on outside of coat, buttoned and laid flat. Chest taken under arms – 43 inches. Shoulders – measured across the back from seam to seam – 17 inches. Sleeve – from collar seam at neck to sleeve end – 30.5 inches. Sleeve – from shoulder seam to sleeve end – 25 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of coat – 33.5 inches. Bottom edge measured all the way around – 45 inches. Condition excellent inside and out. No holes or tears or significant wear. Plenty of fuzzy ” nap” left on the wool. Perhaps a few minor moth spots, but nothing significant. Clean and you’ll likely find it wearable as is, but as with all used items, we recommend cleaning it. In excellent preowned condition with all its original buttons. The leather has hints of brown to the collar, brown patch on the left side shoulder and part brown leather on the left sleeve. Very rare and stylish! Measurements; 31 from tip of shoulder to the bottom hem, 21 across the front chest armpit to armpit, 16 from armpit to the end of the sleeve, 22 from the shoulder line to the end of the sleeve, and 19 across the back from shoulder line to shoulder line. Comes from a smoke free home and no foul odors. The lining is immaculate except that the right pocket inner lining is ripped and has to be stitched. I can get it repaired if you would like me to.
