The item is a Large Men, underarm: 24.5″ and length: 28″. There are used marks on the item and wear marks/missing wool patches over the jacket. If you need more picture of the spots, please let me know, as I cannot upload all the white spots. I do not know what causes this. The item is still in good condition, this is a dry clean item only. Offered is a fantastic vintage Char & Sher long suede vest. The vest is tan suede with tan tooled leather insets in the top front, pocket trim and back panel. The vest measures 46″ long, 15″ underarm to underarm with 11 armhole openings. There are two decorative metal circles in front (one on each side). The vest has no closures and was not designed to be closed. Gorgeous vest, one of a kind. Made in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Char was born Charlotte Blankenship in a small Colorado town to a lively creative family. She still has the doll clothes she and her two sisters stitched on their mothers small Singer sewing machine. In 1968, after studying Art History at university and two years designing clothes for a boutique in California, Char ventured to Guadalajara with her husband Aurelio Vazquez. There, like in the storybook. She took a scrap of leather (instead of a wisp of straw) and turned it into gold. One hand-painted leather handbag grew to become six stores in Mexico and a collection that debuted at the New York Boutique show in the early 70sdepartment store buyers saw the collection and Chars painted bags became an overnight sensation.
