They were the leading provider of clothes for country and western singers, movie stars and cowboys until the early 1990s when the company ceased operations. Everyone from John Wayne to Gene Autry to John Travolta wore their fashions on the stage, in movies, riding horses and drinking in honky tonk bars. In July of 2018, the company was restarted and the tradition lives on. All of their designs borrow heavily from the famous designs of the past. This Bolero Jacket, which was just manufactured by the newly formed HBarC company, was sewn with the exact pattern that was used from the jacket’s launch in 1956 thru the 1970s when the jacket was discontinued. Consequently, the size is “vintage fit” which tends to run 1/2 to one full size smaller than modern clothes.
