Men’s Pendleton Coat Jacket Vintage Western Plaid Large. This is such a rare and beautiful piece, a 50s Pendleton wool coat with fur collar in Fall and Winter colors. It is quite old and isnt mint by any means. I spotted two stains, see pictures 8 and 9, on the outer wool material. There is a leather tag that says Pendleton, it has come undone on one side, see pictures 2 and 3. On the inside lining it is soiled. The inside lining been repaired in one place and has a small hole in one place, see final two pictures. There is no size tag on this coat, based on the measurements I believe this would fit a size small mens. The measurements are in the pictures. I looked on the inside of the coat and I believe the pockets are not the original pockets, there is a slight scrunching of the material in front, noticeable only when I was steam cleaning and spot cleaning. It didnt look like the wool was compromised so I looked at the pocket seams from the inside and realized the pockets had either been repaired or fully replaced and it isnt 100% even, see 10th picture. Overall this is such a beautiful, retro coat, hard to find, in remarkably good condition considering this is a 70 year old coat that has been used and repaired. This coat would be in best condition if it were professionally cleanedI have steam cleaned and spot cleaned it very carefully.
