VINTAGE Western Wear WOOL BLANKET COAT Jacket NAVAJO Indian 44. Very hard-to-find Vintage Pendleton style – these rarely come along. CLASSIC Authentic Vintage Pendleton High Grade Western Wear Wool Blanket Jacket Coat. Made in Portland Oregon. It shows lots of character in great condition, you won’t find another one like it! This is the iconic classic made by Pendleton. Vivid colors in an interesting pattern inspired by Native American Indian designs, often Navajo, t. Wo large flap covered exterior pockets as well as one interior pocket, full button up front with leather buttons, warm faux shearling collar, lightly quilted lining through out body, intact labels, etc. Fantastic and timeless coats, warm and comfortable. All coats fit differently so please follow measurements. All measurements taken on outside of coat, buttoned and laid flat. Chest taken under arms – 50 inches. Shoulders – measured across the back from seam to seam – 19 inches. Sleeve – from collar seam at neck to sleeve end – 32 inches. Sleeve – from shoulder seam to sleeve end – 25.5 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of coat – 33.5 inches. Bottom edge measured all the way around – 53 inches. Condition is very good. No holes or tears or significant wear. A few moth bites and tracks through out coat, particularly on upper right shoulder – please view photos and contact if any questions. Lining is in fully intact and in excellent condition. Clean and you’ll likely find it wearable as is, but as with all used items, we recommend cleaning as there may be a few light spots, marks, etc. That should come out if cleaned. Ren Ellis Renegade Native / Western Fringe Beaded Jacket 44’Best of The Best
Many of my items are one of a kind therefore I have tagged some of the items as Best of the Best. Ellis is inspired by the famous Mexican leather designer Arturo Archoca of Pieles Pitic based in Pitiquito, Sonora, Mexico. Arturo passed several years ago and his leather designs are collector items now. He collaborative and taught North Beach Leather, Burray Olson, Ren Ellis Renegade and inspired designer like Ira Hoss of Volcano. Theirs work of are leather design were worn by famous celebrities such as Santana, Elvis, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, The Doobie Brothers, George Jones, Geraldo, Neil Young, countless country and western groups and entertainers, top rock musicians and astute business men and women. Other celebrities include White Snake, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bob Dylan. The craftsmanship by the leather designer Arturo Archoca is top notch. He grew up making leather clothing for the rock bands of San Francisco. He made custom work for many Hollywood notables and rock stars, including Dick Van Dyke, Barbra Streisand, Jon Peters, Chaka Khan, Buffie St. John, Billy Idol, country duo Brooks and Dunn, Jones, and even the legendary Groucho. Collector item now that. Ren Ellis Renegade is no longer making jackets. This jacket is very unusual and rare. I have only seen two of them and I owned both of them. Was worn very little and in mint. Amazing detail and workmanship. Fringe, beaded with bone beads, silver star buttons. Arms and pocket with beautiful beaded detail. Length from bottom of collar to helm 24.
