Men’s Size 40. Approximate Measurements Taken Flat Shoulder to Shoulder: 18.5″ Pit to Pit: 20.5″ Length w/o Fringe: 27″ Length w/Fringe: 32″ Sleeve: 24″ Length of Fringe Hanging from Sleeves: 15″. Made in USA Albuquerque, New Mexico. This jacket is in EXCELLENT Vintage Condition! It’s rare to find these jackets, especially with the long fringe, without any missing fringe. And without any stains on the jacket or lining. This jacket does not appear to have been worn, the fringe is all perfectly in tact and not twisted. The only flaws on this jacket appear to be from storage – there is a small scratch on one of the arms near the shoulder and them slight wear on the inside of the collar that looks like it came from over half a decade of hanging on a hanger. Done in a rich brown crushed velvet and has stud and rhinestone trim. You almost could miss the rhinestones but they give a little flash when they catch the light. Size label S/M but this is incredibly roomy. Laid flat and measured across the waist it is 36 inches. I wear an XL and it is plenty roomy on me. SERIOUSLY THE COOLEST JACKET EVER! All suede leather fringe jacket from somewhere in the 1950s to the 1970s. True color is chocolate brown. Outside of coat is NOT damaged has no stains or rips. The lining can be replaced if new owner desires. Lining is currently in pretty ripped up condition. Hot spots include the inside neck & inside behind the pockets. Although the tags have been removed, we know that this coat is a size XL. All 3 measurements are correct for a current extra large: Armpit to armpit when flat is 23-3/4″ for a chest measurement of 47-1/2″. Waist when flat is 21″ for a total measurement of 42″. Proper sleeve measurement (Center of neck to cuff) is 35-1/2. Shoulder seam to cuff is 26-5/8. Top of neck (folded) to hem (bottom of coat) is 29-1/2 WITHOUT THE FRINGE. RARE True Vintage Fringe Jacket. Bought this off someone who said they had worn it around in the 70’s in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood in San Francisco. This jacket has some major history to it. This thing has some crazy fringe to it. Very difficult to find one like this. Additionally, it’s quite heavy, weighing in at 5 pounds. Pit to pit – 21.5. Top of back of collar to bottom of jacket – 28. Minor wear and tear with no missing buttons. Small hole in armpit as well.
