Fabulous Black Embroidered Beaded Ponies Horses Western Plains Jacket NWOT M. This jacket is from 2015 from Double D Ranch’s 25th anniversary. This is new without tags and hasn’t been worn. It’s a lightweight knit cotton hi-lo jacket with embroidered and beaded floral designs and a mama horse and colt. Please pay close attention to the measurements. From shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back is 16. From underarm to underarm it’s 22 inches. Sleeve length is 24 inches and it’s 22 inches at the shortest point from shoulder to hem and 32 inches at the longest point at the sides. All measurements were taken without stretching the fabric and this does have some stretch to it. Labeled M and I would say that according to the measurements it’s going to fit a medium just fine. I really like vests. They’re not something that everybody wears and it just sets you apart. Makes everything else you’re wearing just a little more interesting. When your outfit needs a little something something a vest might be it! This is a beautiful black velvet vest with a beaded floral pattern more reminiscent of an Eastern Woodland Indian design. Has a half belt at back so you can cinch it tighter. At the front is a single set of suede ties for closure. Lined in a plaid that really gives it an authentic Native American look. Underarm to underarm is 20 inches and that seems even a little generous for a size small. So compare a fitted jacket or vest that fits you well laid flat and measured across the back from underarm seam to underarm seam. The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 24 inches. This is done mainly in red but the red isn’t a bright Christmasy red, it’s more of a cranberry red. The front is fully heavily beaded with seed beads in a Native American design. Beads are glass so this has some weight to it. There are variations in the beadwork but those are not flaws. Just variations (some are more raised than others) in a lot of hand done beadwork. This is all done on a lightweight suede. This is also lined so it’s smooth inside.
