If you need to keep warm you might as well as look fashionable doing it! This jacket is a soft beige quilted satiny polyester fabric trimmed with faux fur and tons of embroidery. Snap closures and three pockets. Not going to keep you warm below zero but good for milder winter weather. The underarm to underarm measurement is 17 inches. 24 across the back from shoulder to shoulder. Sleeve length is 26 inches. The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 25 inches. The Western Mountaineering SnoJack Parka Gore Windstopper was designed to provide ample upper body insulation for cold weather expeditions while allowing you to move around as if you were wearing a much lighter down sweater. This improved agility is the result of combining two construction methods to optimize performance and function. While 95% of the parka is made with baffled chamber construction, there are two narrow panels under the arms which are quilted to reduce bulk and improve mobility. Western Mountaineering kept the weight to a minimum by using the most advanced lightweight materials available. I bought this jacket last winter and never did wear it. This is a Large Western Mountaineering Ion Parka. Eight ounces of goose down fill. The jacket weighs approximately 25 ounces…. A light jacket with a lot of down in it. It has a Gore Windstopper shell material… It’s not waterproof, but it has good weather resistance. I used this jacket on one weekend winter trip… It’s in very good condition. Thanks and good luck!
