Vintage 70s Schott Bros Rancher Western Suede Leather Brown Shirt Jacket M / L. (Schott Bros) located in New York USA, was founded in 1913 by brothers Irving and Jack Schott. The first company to put a. On a jacket, created the classic Perfecto biker jacket, and made clothing for the US Armed Forces during WWII. Schott is still owned by the Schott family and still manufacture much of their clothing in the United States. This is a vintage Schott premium suede leather Rancher Western style shirt jacket. The back neck label dates this to the 1970s. Used and in fair to good vintage condition with general heavy signs of use, abrasion, and discolouration/ marks throughout. There are some holes to the lining near the right (as worn) shoulder area. There are two patch style hand warmer pockets on the front at the hips, and one patch pocket on the left shoulder. Full front heavy duty zipper by YKK. Appears to have been worn very little. Coat is So so warm and comfortable Coat Buttons up. With 3 horn buttons, These coats are well-tailored and well-made. “Marlboro Man” style Jacket Coat. Men’s size Large (44) Made In USA. In excellent vintage condition. Does retain vintage patina with some variations in the leather and some wear. I noticed a pencil mark about 3 inch in the back very bottom it appears to have been a mark when the coat was being made. It was marked as a guide for cutting the garment I haven’t tried to remove but Im sure it can be removed. Pit to pit 24. Shoulder to shoulder 20. Length: top of collar to bottom hem 34.
