HTF Vintage Men’s Pendleton HIGH GRADE WESTERN WEAR plaid wool coat, size L/XL, labeled 44. Coat size charts vary so exterior measurements are provided below. This is in beautiful damage free condition as shown. It is rust, red, cream, and gray in color with a tan faux fur collar. It has 4 exterior pockets outside. (2 are unique vertical pockets above belly area). And 4 buttons down the front. This is a longer style of coat and the interior looks like new and is quilted polyester so it does not itch when a short sleeve shirt is worn. This is a very high quality coat and I doubt there are any nicer ones out there. The ACTUAL exterior measurements when buttoned are listed below. Shoulder seam to end of sleeve – 25. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam – 20.5. Overall length of back from top of collar – 34.5. Fringed down the front lapels, pockets, bottom of coat, length of each sleeve and back V-shaped yoke. Length down the back center, bottom of collar to bottom hem = 25.5. Length down the back center, bottom of collar to bottom of fringe = 31. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam, across the back = 18.5. Armpit to wrist = 17.5. Shoulder seam to wrist = 23. “1940’s Vintage Women’s “Ranch Maid” , Denver, Western Wear Gabardine, Rust & White Leather M/L”. Found in at a house sale in a closet of a Western riding cowgirl from Bucks County, Pa. Who rode in the Jersey, Cowtown Rodeo. A little squished in the closet as it hung some fringe is slightly creased curled not folded. There a few very light stains on the leather. But as shown on the label, dry cleanable. The button holes have NO wear, No staining at the armpits as shown, and no pin holes when held up to the light. In it’s heyday. That this would probably have been a vintage size 16. A good wearable size today, which would probably be a size 12 today. The measurements show up well with the measuring tape in the photo.
