Vtg 70s/80s Neiman Marcus Sheepskin Shearling Bomber Jacket Coat Large France

One of the nicest coats Ive ever gotten my hands on. Late 1970s/early 80s full genuine shearling coat from Neiman Marcus in good preowned condition. Sheared wool throughout interior and ribbed wool cuffs with a large pointed collar, showing the time period. This line of sheepskins were made in France, although mine is missing its origin tag. Very large talon zippers. Marked a size 42, slim fitting large. Medium can fit with a layer or two. When unzipped, the front curls open a bit, showing off the rich fur. The rivets on the back of the collar are so nice. Gentle wear with spot on sleeve and loose pocket thread, see all pics. Very well worth it. Measurements are as follows. Sleeve: 24 (not including knit cuff). Feel free to ask any questions; I will reply as quickly as possible. All measurements are taken lying flat and sleeve measurements are taken from shoulder seam. IM GUESSING THAT ITS A SMALL / MEDIUM. That is purely a guess on my end. Shoulder to shoulder – 18. Shoulder to cuff – 26. Armpit to armpit – 20. Top to bottom – 49. Those measurements can vary depending exactly how you measure it. The coat is preowned and has some minor damage in my opinion. Its missing a button on the front. Theres a larger (2) hole in the back and a two small ones near the collar, that could be sewn up. The belt on the back also needs to be sewn on the one size. Theres some missing wool on the one pocket. Theres some stains, water marks, imperfections, and other blemishes on the coat. Please view pictures carefully before purchasing. British nubuck sheepskin coat genuine shearling jacket authentic leather fur S/M

The soft, fluffy fur in this genuine shearling jacket is stylistically raised in order to imprint a dye to resemble a wild animal skin. With a subtle waist cinch and simple, sleek seams, this coat is a high quality piece without a fussy look with hidden pockets that are lined with fur. Spongey, supple leather is reminiscent of the classic British nubuck, softer than nappa but tougher than suede, which takes on a lustrous patina as it wears instead of looking dirty. Such is the look of this jacket as it gains quite a few markings, but it is nonetheless priced down. Buttons are all newly tightened; third button is slightly different from the rest, hardly noticeable. Functionally robust with clean inner fur, this coat is priced at a steal for an Owen Barry shearling coat. Tag says M but please beware that it may fit close to a Small – please check measurements and mind the thickness of the fur.
