Levis original vintage mens cream-colored wool custom tailored western jacket. Made in the USA in the 1950s to early 1960s. This is a relatively rare Levis piece. Custom tailored Western style jacket. Really neat inner label with capital LEVIS spelled out in glitter lettering. Fabric is a very thick, fuzzy, wool that Id estimate to be an alpaca wool blend. Color is an off-white with some naturally occurring grayish/brownish characteristics. Great details on this one. Double front pocket with peak buttoned flap leading to a main pocket and a vertical welt hand pocket sitting on top of that. Double peak western style yoke with a swelled seam that looks almost like bat wings. 3-button front closure with braided buttons. Fully lined in a blue/gray silvery rayon. Similar double peak back yoke w/ action back. Condition is not perfect on this one; there are a handful of issues. Some light brown marks on the middle front near buttons, some staining to the cuff edges on both sleeves, a small hole on one sleeve, some very light mothing on a spot on the chest, some general, natural wear to the edges of the collar and lapel etc. Some staining to the inner lining on the bottom near hem and some armpit staining that is only lightly visible from the outside and some moderate additional visible wear and fuzziness to the back left of the jacket. This jacket could really benefit from a professional cleaning, but I dont trust my dry cleaner with it. Although its not in perfect condition I think its a special piece and wearable as is. Best estimate of fit is a US mens size Large. Chest (pit to pit) 22 ¾. Length (base of collar to bottom down back) 31. Sleeves (shoulder to cuff along upper edge) 26. Shoulders (seam to seam) 18 ¼.
